Cicero Fonder is a small independent fund manager based in Stockholm, Sweden. Our business idea is to provide a personal, independent, performance-oriented portfolio management with focus on client’s interest and trust. Cicero Fonder was formed in 2000 by Bengt Holmström and Christer Sterndahlen. Bengt Holmström was formerly CEO at “den Norske Bank” in Stockholm, Trygg Hansa, Trygg Fri Placering, Gota Trygg Fonder. Bengt Holmström launched one of the most successful funds in Sweden, Optionsrättsfonden, at TryggHansa in the early 1990-ties. Christer Sterndahlen was formerly equity strategist at UBS Warburg, Hägglöf & Ponsbach Fondkommission, Gota Bank and the Riksbank . Christer Sterndahlen has been #1 rated as Nordic sector analyst in two rankings, Affärsvärden and Finanstidningen. Mikael Sandström joined the team in 2003. He was formerly working as institutional sales at Nordea, Swedbank, Gota Bank and Sundsvallsbanken. Why Cicero Fonder?Client focused - You as a client are very important to us.
